What a whirlwind! We all gathered in Washington DC for the launch of the book. First Liz and Diana went to a live interview at the local Fox affiliate while Dan, Jesse, Harvey and I stayed back at the hotel and totally forgot to watch them! Then we all met at the Diane Rehm Show studio for our BIG debut. Diane was as elegant and gracious as I imagined she would be, she made us so comfortable. We were all nervous! I hope it didn’t show!
Right after that, we dashed to my favorite Indian vegetarian restaurant in northern Virginia, Woodlands for their lunch buffet. Then it was straight to Charlottesville for our first reading at New Dominion Bookshop. It was so exciting to have our first event in Charlottesville where we all came back together, surrounded by friends old and new! (I think either Di or I knew just about everyone there), Thank You guys.
It was nice to get back home and have a home cooked meal and just hang out all together and revel in the frenzy of our day….
